kitcho9 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I desperately need help with my bluetooth headset, I've been playing with it for the past 2 hours and it's got me stumped. First of all, the headset I own is a Blueant X5 Stereo Headset which you can view here: http://www.blueant.com.au/x5_stereo_blueto...phones_a2dp.htm Ok....so I've put my headset into pairing mode and searched for it via the PS3. It was found within seconds so I selected it, entered the PIN and Bob's my uncle - Registration complete. Now when I go into Audio Settings (I think that's what it's called) where you change the input and output options my headset is shown as both. When I speak into the headset the speaker bar moves so it's working fine. All good so far. Now the bit that's got me stuffed. When I exit the Audio Settings and wait a few minutes and then go back into it, it still shows my headset as the outputs but this time they are greyed out. When I speak in the microphone the bar doesn't move at all. I tried turning the headset off and on but still the same. I used the feature on the headset to connect to the last item used (even though PS3 is all I have paired with it) and it still doesn't work. So I put the headset in pairing mode and tried again and it all works...I speak and the bar goes up. So I quickly jump into Resistance to see how it goes and when I go into Audio Options (Online mode) the headset has been greyed out again. It's driving me nuts! It's definitely registering and picks up my voice but seems to drop out or something. Anyone know how to resolve this or does anyone else have this headset? I'm pissed off haha.
