JoshH Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 For anyone who is interested or is coming to CEDIA this year I will be presenting 'Advanced Home Cinema Acoustics' in conjunction with David Mosley from Wavetrain Acoustics. The course is 3 hours and assumes a certain level of home theatre experience. I have been through the course content and can thoroughly recocmend this course for anyone who is interested in advanced theatre acoustics. http://www.cedia.com.au/data/files/cedia.e...escriptions.pdf I think you should be able to register shortly on CEDIA's website if you wish to attend. www.cedia.com.au I will also be presenting 'The Designer, The Client and The Process' - a 3 Hour lecture looking at the entire process holistically. This course is for other industry ppl who are dealing with end users/clients. there are numerous other courses being offered this year including ISF certification and Level I and Level II installer. Look forward to hopefully seeing and meeting some of you there.

LukeF1503559517 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Closed to the Public - Industry Only. That sucks. I'd want to go for sure.
JoshH Posted April 17, 2007 Author Posted April 17, 2007 That sucks. I'd want to go for sure. Quote from CEDIA's website CEDIA Expo is strictly a TRADE ONLY event and proof of Trade Identification will be requested on arrival at the venue. That said..If you have any kind of industry contact you can probably get a ticket for floor entry for around $30 + any education events you wanted to attend. Education events range from around $140+ The Cinema acoustics course is $195.00.
