Hey all,

I'm thinking of selling my Sanyo Z3 and Screen Technics 120" fixed screen (have a new projector and Stewart screen)

Comes with a new globe too and both pj and screen are perfect.

Unsure if I should put it upstairs for the kids or sell it to make way for a 1080P LCD TV

How much should I be asking for it ?

Any help or offers would be good.

I'd be keen to hang on and utilise it upstairs myself... second hand PJs drop faster than IT gear!

Especially when a PJ is two generations old or older and LCD panels are known to degenerate hurting resale further.

Do you particularly want a 1080P LCD TV (what size?) and why? Even if you do the funds from the sale of the z3 (an excellent PJ) won't go very far towards one (which is why I'd be inclined to hang on to it in if i could use it).

Best of luck,

Alex

That's what I've been thinking (hanging onto it) I want a 1080p LCD for the loung room (PS3 and Xbox 360) and TV/Foxtel as I've just moved into a new house and as there is a theatre there's not much of a TV room so a 40" LCD is on the cards.

The 120" screen is a tad big to go upstairs so I thought I'd sell it as a package or something.

Just make sure you do your research..many people are very dubious of the advantages of 1080 res on a screen thats 'only' 40" - you may well find 720 is ample and save some big $$$

Eithere way enjoy the purchase
