Buy a computer monitor if you want those specs. Apple make a beautiful display.

But like the other post, judge picture quality with your eyes, resolution is very low on the scale of important parts of a tv. I recomend Panasonic TX32LXD600 and Sony KDL32V2000, Philips make a good one too (32PF9631D), and the Samsung has a great 3yr warranty standard.

If you do get a 1080 line LCD, make sure it accepts 1080p@60Hz through the VGA input if you are going to use it for XBOX 360. While a good HD TV can do a good job at de-interlacing 1080i, it ultimately will not be as good true 1080p for 60Hz material(ie the XBOX360).

I dont fully understand why you want a 1080 line display on a tv that size so badly though? Unless you sit close you are unlikely to see any difference between a 1080 line and a 768 line display.

Now why doesnt that surprise me  ...Not only cant you read but that you are totally clueless to decide which TV is best for you and for whatever your room size is.

What is is a shopping guide or a Digital TV Forum?...go to frikking JB theyll fix you up with some Monster Wireless Cables as well.

You would have had to deliberatly skip past the red text threads that are specially allocated for post count bumps and instead you posted 10 posts worth of inane tests in a previously valid thread.

Is this your handwriting?

For you?...Id recommend LG ....they make great internet fridges and you wouldnt even have to leave the room to get a soda pop....or a banana..or whatever :D

Mellos message

Please use the Red Text Threads for post counts....the limit has been dropped to 5 measly posts without any time restrictions now...there is no need to spam the rest of the forum

Have a nice day :P

Dude, make like your handle and chill a little. The post bump threads are NOT obvious and the search function on this site sucks, well maybe obvious to someone who clearly devotes his life to this forum flaming newbies by your post count.

I had been browsing here for weeks and knew nothing about them until a user kindly pointed them out to me - and without the attitude.

Any more chilled and Id be frigid

Ill flame anybody doing the wrong thing..dont worry about that...but we (numerous members) not only myself, have pointed this, what may appear a small trivial breach of our ettiqutte to some, but an untidy burden to others,..very politely on many numerous occasions before. If you want to paint me a bad guy..thats ok with me..Im a big boy and I can handle it..I really dont care.....but if anything at least some other soon to be new members might just get a hint of how we have repeatedly and politely requested such a simple request.

Attitude is what Im addressing..that... and a bit of respect for how we do it.

I think my work is done

Hi All,

I'm tearing my hair out at the moment. I've just bought an LG 32LC2D (-AA) with the aim of getting 1:1 pixel mapping over DVI/HDMI. Has anybody acheived this on this model in Australia? I can't.

It looks as though I the 32LC2D model in Europe are able to acheive this but it is due to different software.

If nobody has acheived this on this LG model in Oz which 32inch LCD screens can do 1:1 pixel mapping here?

Cheers,

Matt

The panasonic tx-32lxd600a can do it.....i've done it (albeit at 1360x768 and only on DSUB). See my other post for some power strip timings that I put together. Click here for the details.

Cheers......Tex.

Thanks Tex. It's great to see that you can confirm they can get pixel mapping on a 32inch panel and give full details of how to do it using the VGA port. Now if only there was someone in Oz who can show that they've done it for a 32incher over HDMI.

Perhaps an online database, specific to Australia, would be useful for this...

Cheers,

Matt.
