mtchye Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Hi guys, I know that there is a Linux build out there for PS3 which will allow playing of DivX's. My question is can you use a USB HDTV tuner to make the PS3 pretty much a complete HTPC alternative? Cheers mtchye
momaw Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 That would be sweet, particularly if you could get linux myth TV to work with its epg and commercial skip functions but you would need to seriously upgrade the HDD to make it worthwhile. Could be worth the investment though. Can you get dual tuner usb solutions?
mtchye Posted April 13, 2007 Author Posted April 13, 2007 Not really looking to use it as a PVR.. if I can use it just to watch the shows, that would be awesome. Anyone heard of this being done before?
