Hi All,

Im looking to buy a few superbit dvd's, if anyone has any they are looking to sell due to bluray/hd-dvd upgrades i would be very interested in buying them!.

In particular id be interested in the following:

SWAT SUPERBIT

BLACK HAWK DOWN SUPERBIT

FIFTH ELEMENT SUPERBIT

LEON: THE PROFESSIONAL (UNCUT INTERNATIONAL VERSION) SUPERBIT

GLADIATOR SUPERBIT

I know these are probably all titles people would prefer to hang onto, but with a few people on here upgrading to bluray/hd-dvd i thought it would be worth a shot to ask here before ordering them in from amazon and the likes.

Cheers

No need to go for the superbit version of the Fifth Element as the Collector Edition(see here) has the same video transfer as the Superbit Edition but includes a 5.1 DD track and the DTS track(even though it doesn't say it on the cover, I have it and can confirm it(the superbit version only had a 2.0 DD track with a DTS)

cheers

How much you willing to pay ?

I have EVERY version of the Fifth Element (US release) even the Superbit one and the Collectors Ed. I now have the Blu-Ray version (and unlike some happy with that, as that's how I remember it in the theatres)

Cool, I will check that out tonight as i purchased this edition last week but have not got around to viewing it as yet. The main reason i wanted it on superbit was for DTS, but if my copy has DTS than im happy! (Strange its not on the back cover  )

I also have the Fifth Element superbit available. I wasn't impressed with the BD version, but the 1080i broadcast which I have is the best version to date. So I'm willing to get rid of the superbit.

I also have The Knight's Tale (still shrink wrapped I think), and The Big Hit if anyone's interested in superbit versions of these. Pristine condition

G'day,

I've got "Panic Room" on Superbit, just an R1 version I picked up in a Walmart for $5. Haven't watched it yet, nor do I know how different it is to the non-Superbit edition. But you can have it for nowt if you want to pick it up.

I have the special edition of Stargate which includes the original theatrical version remastered in "high Definition".

Is this superbit or equivalent?

I've got the SE too. I never noticed that. Wonder what it means.

Can you see all the people standing on the hills in the opening scene in Egypt are cardboard?

Does anyone know of any good online DVD shops that sell superbit DVDs. I've looked but not many do or they are out of stock.

Cheers,
