From what I understand, its not available on the Australia store due to licensing issues.

sulimo Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Correctamundo!! Not that it matters. I have MAME on my Xbox
bigblue Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 Not that it matters. I have MAME on my Xbox well that sucks! geez it makes me think about what the yanks get (HD movies etc etc) and how much better the xbox could be once they get our Xbox Live up to scratch...
bigblue Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 So why not just sign up with a US account? now thats an Idea, can you actually do that? ie does Xbox live check to see what region you are in or what region your Xbox is (ie region 4) etc? Can anyone confirm if they have done this and it works? Cheers Harry
dunnas Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Correctamundo!! And FWIW Boom Boom Rocket is out today. No, it's just not available here YET because the person responsible here for getting games rated wasn't aware of the game coming out and didn't apply to get it rated in time. A similar thing has happened with Boom Boom rocket.
dunnas Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 So why not just sign up with a US account? The US demo can be downloaded but the full version cannot be unlocked here using Australian MS points. The New Zealand version however can be.
Gino Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Well... there you go When I initially found out that different regions had access to different content when the x360 was released, I had a US account setup also, along with a Japanese one (this one was tricky as I can't read japanese). Guess I'll need to setup a NZ one also
watmorej Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 How do you setup different accounts for different countries/regions?
Gino Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 setup an msn account from a different region. then when you setup a live account, choose to use your msn account
beeHT Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Hey guys, Am now a happy owner of an xbox 360 and just want to get the most of it now!! With the demo games available through xbox live, how much space do they take on the hard drive?? Are they limited to a number of times you can access them?? Thanks for your help!!
Gino Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 demo games vary in size, but will notify you exactly how much when you choose to download them. there is no limit to the number of plays AFAIK
Anthonyw Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Well, I setup a US account and it works great - more hidef trailers and demos to download, BUT now I am totally hooked to Boom Boom Rocket and I cant buy the full version anywhere! Thanks alot Gino
Hydrology Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Well, I setup a US account and it works great - more hidef trailers and demos to download, BUT now I am totally hooked to Boom Boom Rocket and I cant buy the full version anywhere! Thanks alot Gino Go onto the US Ebay site, buy some US points, get the seller to email you the code, and voila!
Anthonyw Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Thanks Mark, came to that conclusion yesterday. Rumour has it (from my many readings yesterday) that it has been classified and should be out on Wednesday. I am still sceptical, if it isnt out on wednesday Ebay it is for me. I feel for the poor buggers that legitimately move country and can't "take" their gamer tag with them.
Anthonyw Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Go onto the US Ebay site, buy some US points, get the seller to email you the code, and voila! Worked a treat - points came through within half an hour of purchasing this morning and now happily have the full version of boom boom rocket. Thanks Mark
