DrP Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 My two cents WRT to Centrex products is leave it on the shelf. I'm sure that if you search this forum you'll find a few people that have had Centrex products with firmware issues that were never satisfactorily resolved.

I'm sure that if you search this forum you'll find a few people that have had Centrex products with firmware issues that were never satisfactorily resolved. Hi, New to this site. Just bought a Centrex/YESS 160 GB twin tuner and am happy with it. Bid on the Centrex and received but unlike the ad it didn't have Scart output but came with RCA Component and SVHS outputs. I returned it as I needed Scart for my Loewe TV and received the same unit but branded YESS with Scart output. Same menu system and appearance but with Scart / RGB. Great RGB output for a euro TV with grain free picture and good performance overall. The worst aspect is the Manual as its extremely bad english and at best is hard to follow. Not the best menu system but its not the worst menu system either. Fairly straightford. The component output of the Centrex is probably more useful to most people today but the Scart output is as good as it gets... In all it seems like a great deat. Paid $240 for it in total. Can recommend it to most people unless they have a problem with the bad manual.
