I was watching the golf this morning and thinking the pq is amazing, look at that mozzie on the camera lens.Hang on a minute i thought it's on the screen,i get up to brush it away and bugger me it's on the inside :D(dlp rear pro) ,I'm thinking what do i do?Turns out there is two of the bastards.Any ideas how long mozzies live? :P .Hopefully they are of the same sex,so they won't breed or are mozzies hermaphrodites :P ?There is no sign of them at the moment.Dork

lol, I laughed.

Sorry, I know that didn't help with your problem, but hopefully the fact that you brought joy to others should ease your pain :P

we had a couple of cockroaches run across the inside of the rptv..............one of em was nice enough to leave a deposit that marked the screen.......bastards

I'd spray the screen with mortien to get rid if the mossies!!

Not as uncommon as you may imagine! - Ive had bugs in my old RPTV too :-) (none in the new one yet!)

DONT spray - you'll get crap all over the mirror!! try not to even spray int he room - especially if your display has a fan - it'll suck it all in (Bad).

Crawling bugs - gentle flick of the screen and they'll fall off..

Flying ones.... - they'll die or come out eventually.. You MIGHT have to open up the TV tho to get the bodies out if they die on the lens :)

Cheers,

Ok folks,i have come to the conclusion that the animal kingdom is out to get us :angry2: .We have a tree outside our bedroom and every morning for the past 2 weeks a bird plants its feathered arse in it and proceeds to impersonate a freeekin car alarm  .Now this is at 4.30 on the dot,the noise it makes a sound like no bird noise i have ever heard. So there i am in me jocks throwing anything and everything i can find in the dark into the tree :o .It stays for about an hour and a half then buggers off.We get back to sleep for a little while the the real alarm goes off.I'm going to put some stuffed cats in the tree and rubber snakes to try and scare it away,it may not do a thing but i've gotta try something. We are going out of our minds. Can you get a silencer for a shotgun?

Open the TV up and put it outside with the cover held open by a hair trigger. Then the bird will fly inside the TV chasing the mosquitos for food and be trapped and you can dispose release it at your leisure. Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak :D
