Hydrology
Rockstar North claim that all footage is in-game engine, so its looking special already. Imagine the scale, with the city inhabited by millions of people with the same graphical ability as those in Table Tennis on the 360.

Scalpel
Interesting the way the trailer is based on the film Powasquatsi (& Koyanasquatsi) even down to the music. Did Phillip glass do the music? J. I suppose "life out of balance" is a good theme ...... I found (this link) which answers my question in the affirmative.
AndrewW
The BIG question is momaw, 360 or PS3 version? That is a very easy question to answer ... the 360 version of course. Will only buy exclusives on the PS3, the controller is just too sucky when I have the option of using the 360's. Andrew. edit: woohoo 2000 posts

Me too. All other things being equal I'll go the 360 version as well. I'm still not getting use to the Sixaxis plus the lack of force feedback is a big negative for mind. And IIRC the 360 version will have exclusive episodic content downloadable off Xbox Live, which as "exclusive" sugggests, will not be available on the PS3 version. Well that's what I remember anyway from Microsoft's E3 announcement last year on GTAIV. OF course you'll almost certainly have pay extra for that when it comes time to download but at least you'll have the option.

Gee you would have to pretty keen to go for the quinella, but I guess there are always going to be some that will be. The 360 version will probably do me just fine though. momaw
What no Wii version But seriously, graphics aside, think of the possibilities..... I'll get which ever version is the *best* if that can be decided upon. If not, which ever is the bloodiest and goriest
Hussla
Looks alright, still I've found the last couple of GTA games rather bland and repetitive and the AI's rather stupid. The graphics look great, hopefully the gameplay isn't as boring and repeitive as the last ones.
Hydrology
If this became an MMO then it wouldnt matter how good the AI was, just how stoopid your online friends are!
digitalm
yep agreed online play will add a whole new dimension to "the world of killing" lol atleast this is a fresh new game unlike liberty city stories etc etc etc...
