The plasma "NORMALLY" comes with DVI, Component, S-Video and Composite Inputs. There is also another input (Input 1) which can be configured to accept Component video, giving a total of 2 Component Video inputs. ANd of course, the HDMI just plugs into the DVI.

all correct but I think it's better to use amp and get all you connections run via amplifier

Didn't say it isn't.

However, many amps still don't handle HDMI and there really is no need IMHO.

Put the sound to the amp and the picture to the display and the result will be superb.

This may be relevent to this sale, but will obviously depend on the exact specifics of the deal.

I have just dicussed the warranty sales terms with Pioneer.

If a Plasma is onsold then the warranty is not sold with the screen - ie it rests with the original purchaser only.

J.

Obviously the seller could act in your place to claim on a warranty issue, but this is not so easy with onsite service - they may have to come over to your house and claim that they moved (and hope that they dont ask for some form of ID)

I represent a public company. A tax invoice is given by that company not by me so the warranty still stands.
That's good news. Care to share the name of the company. Via PM if you really need to keep it confidential.
