brett134 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Hey fellas, Just want to send a big "Thank You" out to all those guys who helped me and gave me a bit of info on Benq 8720. (Foggy, Norpus, Benthx, MarkTecher, Djos Beejay, Curious, Preacher, Worx, Nightbreed, Ajm.). Everyones input really helped me out alot as i got different views on it. i can't imagine how long it would've taken me to find the little things that you've all helped me with. I ended up buying this projector on tuesday (upgraded for the Panasonic AE900 and I beyond happy with it...) I never imagined it would be this good. It is razor sharp and the contrast on it is amazing (didn't realize what i was missing out on with those black levels. HD-DVD looks stunning on it and blu ray also looks quite good). I usually can see rainbows pretty easily but haven't seen too many with this baby, they are still there but i only see them from time to time and they don't bother me (and i'm usually really picky on things like that). So once again thanks to all the guys that helped me out over the past week or so with info it really made life alot easier (even after sifting through all the pages of info here and AVS i still was a bit lost) all the help/info you've given me is really much appreciated. I am truly stoked with the image it puts out it has exceeded my expectations by the length of the Flemington straight. Cheers fellas. Brett.
