mchuelio Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Just a quick question about speaker set up! Do you set the A/V Amp/Rec to Large or small speakers in a 6.1 system if a subwoofer is installed? Just setting up the spare room with some B & W MT-20 and a Onkyo TX- DS797, just wondering what people have this setting at! Thanks in advance, and have a safe Easter All! Keep Trucking Mc
AndrewW Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Do you set the A/V Amp/Rec to Large or small speakers in a 6.1 system if a subwoofer is installed? My understanding is that the answer is ... it depends. It depends on the frequency response of your speakers. If your speakers have low frequency drivers, then set them to large, otherwise set them small. But I've probably got it wrong. Andrew.
ozdoc Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Small. (at least with Denon AVRs you do). (Small / Large doesn't refer to the size of the speakers.)
