Santa1503559644 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Please remain calm! Do not panic! It is my misanthropic duty to warn you of your impending doom! In a very short time from now, the Universe, as we have known and loved it ... shall cease to exist! I'm sure you are all intimately familiar with my man Pauli's most famous principle. Well, suffice it to say, that Lyle is set to contravene it, in such spectacular fashion that the very nature of time & space shall become unrecognisable! You have been warned!

Santa1503559644 Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 I suppose you could argue we don't need to worry about Global Warming ... when the entire Universe as we know it will cease to exist so soon!

Thudd1503560234 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 We won't miss out on the easter long weekend will we?
DrP Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 When I read the thread title I thought it was going to be a thread about Lib's electoral performance during the next federal election.
mello yello Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Lyle crashes The Sound Barrier with Mach 6000 !!!!! Time stands still momentarily and Thread Vortexes reported off the coast of Western Australia!!! The Mach 6000 post Pity you wasted it it tipping Freo (didnt even look actually I just knew you would have) edit: confirmed, he did !! Gronya Lyle..many more to come
50mxe20 Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 The Pauli exclusion principle is a quantum mechanical principle formulated by Wolfgang Pauli in 1925. This principle is significant, because it explains why matter occupies space exclusively for itself and does not allow other material objects to pass through it, while at the same time allowing light and radiation to pass. It states that no two identical fermions may occupy the same quantum state simultaneously. A more rigorous statement of this principle is that, for two identical fermions, the total wavefunction is anti-symmetric. For electrons in a single atom, it states that no two electrons can have the same four quantum numbers, that is, if n, l, and ml are the same, ms must be different such that the electrons have opposite spins. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauli_exclusion_principle

Amber Matter cannot be created or destroyed....but it sure as hell can disappear fast <--Young Einstein Winky ( Santa better get a hurry on and Go For Gold!!!...I think my G-Force string just hit a Black Hole)
50mxe20 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Mostly Santa's worried about the colour green. He's safe for awhile longer yet.

Santa1503559644 Posted April 5, 2007 Author Posted April 5, 2007 What?!?! You mean y'all didn't study quantum mechanics? Should be mandatory at Uni these days! That'll put a spanner in the bloody "degree factory" system so loved by kids today!
Thudd1503560234 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 What?!?! You mean y'all didn't study quantum mechanics? I did! And what they say about relativity probably applies just as much to quantum physics - that's it's like an erection, the more you think about it the harder it gets
50mxe20 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 You mean y'all didn't study quantum mechanics? Nah, I dropped out of Engineering (after two years).

I'm starting to realise I have to look for the hidden meaning in a lot of these posts; but all I get is a headache and need a bex and a good lie down What?!?! Lyle quick... do a search on quantum mekanix
