They are that bad I cannot watch them...Massive pixalation and image tearing, plus if I change channel, the channel I change from seems to affect the channel I am changing to, e.g. changing from 7 to 9? I live in West Melbourne, I'm not sure what the signal quality should be like in this area... ABC and SBS seem to be unaffected. Only started happening 4rd of April. BTW, what is CNR? beeblebrox Posted April 9, 2007 Share Posted April 9, 2007 CNR is Carrier to Noise ratio... not a particularly useful measurement in digital ,especially if displayed as a percentage. West Melbourne is one of the worst spots in Melbourne. you're in the shadow of the city, usually no access to the como transmitter and lots of electrical noise... trams, factories, cranes at the the hospital rebuilding etc... If it's been working fine and suddenly it's a problem, try powering off your STB, check to see if your antenna looks like it's moved or has any cable been damaged.
