Lg 60" Hd Plasmas

Hi Guys,

I heard from a friend that LG have released two 60" plasmas and I wanted to see if anybody has bought one yet and as I'd like to get an idea what they think of them.

One is a 1366 by 768 HD unit with a built in HD tuner and I understand it's selling for about $5k at HN

The other one is the same size but it's a native 1920 by 1080 plasma with HD tuner and it sells for about $7k.

I've had a look at LG's site but can't seem to see them there yet.

Any feedback on them guys?

Yeah, just sold one for the other day and returned it 3 days ago. LG stock is nowhere for the next 2-3 weeks due to their channel 90 issues. (CSI in particular)

Great picture for the money, but buy the extended warranty and wait for the reprogrammed batch to arrive.

I notice these are now being advertised in JB HiFi's catalog that's just been released at $4996

Interesting price for a 60" HD plasma.

Anybody else tempted at this price?

Other than the Channel 9 problem which looks like it's being fixed, what do you guys think of LG plasmas?
