Hey, wanting to know if anyone has wired there house will a multiple speakers back to a main amp (not surround as in 5.1)? and what will i need to run all the then to the main amp?

I basically wanto th run a main HT room, main tv room and outdoor enteraining tv. I would ideally like to run multiple speakers through the house that can use various channels to run the tv's and radio as needed. Maybe the whole house is just the radio then i want to have at the same time the tv rooms audio constricted to the tv room etc. I guessing i'll need a hub for all the speakers? Will my 120x6amp cut it? Please help or suggest cause i'm only getting one crack at this to get it right!

My HT room will not run these flush roof speakers! - I am looking at getting the Logitech 890 to run all this.

Running out of time!! house is due to start soon!

When running multiple speakers you generally use a impedence matching swith box back to your main amp. To do multi source multiroom you need an amp that has that ability built in.

Jaycar have some high-quality 2-way concentric ceiling speakers that won't break the bank -- $90 per pair for the 6.5" ones, $120 per pair for the 8" ones. Sometimes cheaper on sale. Ordinary 240v figure-of-eight 7.5 amp wire at $0.70/metre is good enough for hooking these up.
