Foxtel Iq No Optical Output

I seem to have lost sound out put from the optical out in my IQ box.

It's not my amp, or the cable have checked all those, Foxtel will send a tech on the 12th of April between 12 and 5, (nice customer service) but I was wondering if anybody had any other ideas for before then.

This has happend to me 3 times in the last week and each time

i reset the system. On the IQ box hold the back button and select button at the same time for 3 seconds then wait about 2 minutes and see if you get sound back.

This also happened to me - the resetting worked for a couple of weeks then nothing...had to get the box replaced.

Yeah, this isn't working for me at all, just completely gone.

The fact that others have had this problem is reassuring, sort of!
