deang
Hi to all, we are just about to upgrade our bedroom setup and replace it with all Panasonic gear. We have just sold our Toshiba LCD and are going to replace it with a Panasonic plasma. We are pretty sure we are going to get the run out cheaper TH-42PV60A as opposed to the TH-42PX600A. From checking out these two models the TH-42PX600A has better sound and and inbuilt HD tuner. For nearly the same money we can get the TH-42PV60A and the SC-HT995W HTIB to compensate for the sound which also includes a radio and HDMI DVD player and wireless rear speakers. For the Tuner we will get the new TU-HDT206A - this is not listed on their website but is available in catalogues already and has HDMI output. If all these are connected up together via HDMI do we get the benefit of Panasonic's HDAVI Control Technology so I only need one remote to control everything? Which remote would this be? Would be nice and easy if it were the case. Any comments would be appreciated. Cheers, Dean
diesel
I believe so, HDAVI control through the HMDI should allow one remote - probably the Plasma remote - though you will still probably need the other remotes for more obscure settings - otherwise, thry a Logitech Harmony for ~$100. Best investment I have made
