Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Just wondering now that Foxtel have re-secured the rights to 4 live games a week whether any of the old programs like On the Couch, White Line Fever, Grumpy Old Men or Saturday Central will be shown on any of the Fox Sports channels. I haven't noticed any ads to indicate this may be the case and Round 1 is this weekend of course.

On Monday ~8:30: On the couch Thursday ~8:30: League Teams Friday 6:30-7:30: A Before the Round type program (with piggy dunstall) As for Saturday central, that have been no indications of it continuing, and the latest tv guide (April) indicates that gaps between matches will be filled with classic matches. WLF, GOM appear have been put out to pasture. There might be more, but thats what I can recall....

I don't know what Classic matches are, but if they have Ron Barassi hosting them that would be good! I guess they think Foxsports News is a good enough replacement for WLF, though I too will miss it (and I live in Footy Saturation)
Guest herbo Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 The actual line-up according to the April Foxtel guide is as follows (all times AET and on Foxsport 1): Monday 7:30 - The Winners Monday 8:30 - On the Couch Thursday 6:30 - AFL Teams Friday 6:30 - Before the Bounce (The Games change quite a bit, e.g on April 7, They have 2 Saturday night games) Saturday Arvo - Game 1 Saturday Evening - Game 2 Sunday Early Arvo - Game 3 Sunday Twilight - Game 4 Plus various replays of games and shows scattered throughout the week.
