Guest EZYHD Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Is it possible to use Apple Airport Express to send firmware updates and EyeTV to a Topfield Masterpiece via USB?.
tonymy01 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 No. These things are designed to connect drives etc, not devices that require topfield specific dlls/libraries to access. Icebox1, Icebox2, NSLU2 running unslung & ftpd-topfield or puppy, any linux box running ftpd-topfield or puppy, or a PC are your choices for connecting the Topfield USB to another box to do the kind of "intermediate step" to a more standard protocol for network access (Icebox1 not really actually, but all the others will allow an FTP server to run and allow you to access the Toppy with any kind of ftp client from any kind of computer). Regards
