MAGVIEW Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I have a 3 week old PV60A which is great but over the last couple of days Ive noticed that on 16.9 viewing everything seems stretched to fill the screen eg. people seem short and fat. I havent really noticed it before, can something have changed
Cooksta59 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I have a 3 week old PV60A which is great but over the last couple of days Ive noticed that on 16.9 viewing everything seems stretched to fill the screen eg. people seem short and fat.I havent really noticed it before, can something have changed Check that you are actually watching digital broadcasts via your stb and not analogue through the panasonics inbuilt tuner.Easiest way to check is to change the channels on your stb and see if the panasonic switches channels as well. then check that your plasma's aspect ratio is set to 16:9 using the button on the plasma remote.Then if necessary make sure your stb is set to output the 16:9 aspect ratio.
