Forest Lake Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Fox Sports did not use this feature tonight as there was only 1 game being played at 7.30pm. I did however use this last week and after all the Hype did not really think much of it but each to there own.
MattWinter Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I did however use this last week and after all the Hype did not really think much of it but each to there own. There wasn't that much hype - and it did what it promised didn't it? Two games live at once...

Chui2 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Unless I'm making some mistake, the problem with this feature is, if you are channel surfing (ie. switching between a Super 14 game and an NRL game), it always reverts to the 'first option' NRL game, meaning you have to go through all the Active startup again each time just to switch to the second game. Is this right, or am I missing something?

Yes, you have hit the red button to view the second game ... but it a huge improvement over their pointless Active coverage they had last year. Its really handy if you don't care about the game fox sports decides to show, or just want a quick sore check (and what true NRL fan would be switching to the Super 14 mid-game ). Would be better if they were on their own channels, but at least we have to option now. I was impressed that the same feature was available during the replay of the second game so you could watch the first game if you missed it. Actually it saved me about an hour last week because the second game was running about 15 minutes behind the first, so I watched end of the first half during half time of the first game, then switched over at the end of the first game to catch the end of the second one
