benthx Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Hello Guys Well time is closing in for the impending arrival of the HD1 This will probably be the only HD1 here in Perth! As our last GTG was very entertaining and it was great to put some faces to the names although we really dont know if it was SANTA or his double?? The HD1 will be complimented by the prismasonic lens and maybe marks new aussiemorphic. There is comfortable seating for plenty and will feature SD and HD material. One of the members have offered the use of their Toshiba HD dvd player. Anyone want to bring a blue ray please no blue titles either There will be some hor'd'ourves , a few bottles of Moet and club soda for the ladies If you are interested please register your interest by either PM or post on this thread. Then a date will be set to accomodate the majoirty. If you are a piano player please advise as well. Everyone will be required to sign an NDA Thanks Ben

Felix.. Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Ben have you got separate couches and a partition for the Blu-ray and HD DVD fanbois? Otherwise things could get fugly. And I hope you've got good house and contents insurance with this motley lot visiting your precious abode. Btw I have a Blu-ray player (PS3) and some movies that I could bring along if required. I've responded to Lyle's PM on this planned meet-up.

dyates69 Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 I'd be interested in seeing this one guys, if it's an open invite?
benthx Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 I'd be interested in seeing this one guys, if it's an open invite? Yes its an open invite but access will be denied to those that havent registered via biometric/fingerprint scan. I only wish I was joking too! As most of the HD1 devotees know the HD1 will be available mid/late this week for our eastern states friends. I need a PJ mount before I hook it up. I am anticipating the last week or earlier of April for the GTG. Trying to organsie a few skimpy girls to hand out drinks. I should have mine late this week. Unfortuantely this one is not for sale. All stock has already gone Preorders from now on. Thanks Ben
davidward Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Has an approximate time/date been set yet for the GTG. I'd be interested in coming along if possible. Sorry for the late response Lyle PM'd me a while ago 'bout this but just got round to responding. Cheers Dave

50mxe20 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Sorry!! I'll sayThats not the anzac spirit lyle - good to see you are skiiving on the forum whilst working tho. Keep up the good work - Lots to do here and it's great with no phones ringing and no emails demanding quotes to be done. But that doesn't mean I can't have a bit of fun on the side and watch the forum while jobs are running. Besides the no 1 son wanted to study (uni) and the missus is happier when I'm not underfoot (why I can't retire), so ..... It's hard to resist not driving over to ben's though.
