(Cant find a link, but do a quick search on the forum and you will find plenty of info on this outstanding HD TV)

* Welling Elegance MK5 5.1 HT Speakers - Only 7 months Old $600.00 ono

Front Floor standing speakers 120Watt

Centre Speaker 100Watt

2 X Rear Surround Speakers 100Watt

Yes, it's a great unit, a great price, very hard to pass up, particularly that it is in QLD. Hopefully this works out well.

Considering Cairns is further from the Gold Coast than Melbourne is - out of curiosity, who will you use for freight Gino?

Sony T.V looks to be taken by Gino (Congrats on a bargain!). Just Organising shipping to Cairns, so at this stage the TV is sold.

The Speakers are still for sale however - These need to go quick, so all reasonable offers will be concindered. Auditions are welcome if you are on the gold coast/brissy area.

Just an update, The speakers have now been sold... Thanks for the interest.

I have also got a spare HD-STB Model LG LST-5100P, 8months old for $100.00 + Postage.

umm... most of it, the rest was to be given on delivery. why else would I be concerned?

what worries me is the freight company we had organised has a delivery guarentee, so i'm sure they don't make mistakes, also have $1000 included insurance with all deliveries. i made disco-123 aware of the problem on monday, so i doubt it takes a week to get any response from them considering their policies. now he is no longer taking my calls. i tried calling the freight company, they said they have no record of the sender, nor a record of any deliveries previously due in my area. this doesn't mean much though as they couldn't be sure without a consignment number but it's enough to concern me. it was apparently picked up at his end on april 10, and due 10-15 working days later.

Did anyone who bought anything from Disco-123 run into any problems??

I bought both an Xbox and a HD set-top-box from Disco123, with no problems either time. I picked up the Xbox personally, and had the STB posted to me (although this was only Gold Coast to Brisbane so not that far). Seems a decent and honest bloke from my contact, so hopefully whatever issue you have is sorted soon.

I don't think he is an dishonest person, he was quite friendly and helpful, but his sudden lack of communication, and the circumstancial evidence, gives me a bad feeling I'd rather not have. I'm not trying to accuse him of anything, I just want reassurance from him, or from others who have had previous experience with him, so thanks Geoff, makes me feel better.

This is unbelievable.. I've been trying to contact him, he tells me that it took the courier company a week just to tell him the tv was damaged is in transit back to him, currently in Brisbane, 6 weeks later! Who here buys that?

Meanwhile, a PM from earlier gets to him, and he thinks I'm threatening him. All I said was there are mates who live close by who could check out what's up, people who have bought from him before so it wouldn't be hard to find him, and he says I'm threatening him. So apparently now the deal is off. And no mention of my money either!

Ok.. so now he picks up the phone, I just wanted to make it clear to him that I'm not the threatening type, although he doesn't believe me but what else can I do. At least I feel better about it.

So he is giving me my money back no problems. So hopefully I get that back soon.

I'm just very disappointed that what should have been a very smooth deal turned so sour.

Well its good news for you gino that your getting your money back.. i thought this was a pretty honest group of ppl on this forum..

as i'd been pretty impressed with the dealing's i've had from other members on here..
