Madelaide Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I went to Target today and asked about BDs, they said they didn't have any today, but had about 10 tomorrow. He showed me the catalogue of disks, but said he wasn't allowed to sell them until the PS3 release tomorrow. JB, Big W, Target, Myer, virgin and I presume Kmart all selling BDs with not a single HD-DVD in sight... I think I made the right choice. M.
MELso Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 But not in mainstream stores like KMart. Mind you, my local KMart also stocked Dual Discs for a while - that didn't last long! As for HD-DVD, wait until after Toshiba takes distribution in house before writing it off...
Skid_MacMarx Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 As for HD-DVD, wait until after Toshiba takes distribution in house before writing it off... momaw should apply for the marketing I'll write up a reference...
webbsy1503560295 Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 also if you like paying $45 a disc go for it.
momaw Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 momaw should apply for the marketing I'll write up a reference... They don't have the budget for what I would do
palmag Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I'm sure the major retail stores will be stocking HD DVD's once they become more readily available (except JB). Frankly the Australian HD market is no real player in the HD war, for the real players we need to look at the US and their major retails stores, which coincidently stock both HD DVD and Blu ray.
