Guest EZYHD Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 When watching shows like What's Good for You or Missing Persons they keep jumping back and forward with stories, then some Channels go over time and clashing with other stations, its bloody annoying.

The quality of fta has slipped badly in recent times. No more Sunday night movies, all these crapola lifestyle shows..big brother; idol; worlds biggest loser; dance contests...on ice and dry land. makes me wonder why I bothered going digital
laurie Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Just look at a screen and tell me the % area covered by watermarks, pop up previews etc, its bloody ridiculous its even worse on Foxtel cheers laurie
DrP Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 makes me wonder why I bothered going digital Hear, Hear. My FTA box may as well have only one channel position - ABC. If the ABC goes downhill (further) then I might as well unplug the box and sell it on ebay.
DrP Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 With a PVR fta is more than bearable to me. Only because you have managed to circumvent the stupidity of the networks (withholding schedules, last minute schedule changes, programs not running on time etc). Whilst I could go to all that trouble, why bother? Its easier (for me at least) to simply download the shows and watch them that way.

I wish it were easier for me to do that, my wife hates it when I'm on the computer at home so I make the best of what I can.
