Skid_MacMarx
Weren't all these titles released locally by Universal? I noted the "special order" tag: Please note that this format is currently not available in our stores. so, I don't understand the logic in this... you can make a special order through the online service but not the store? Considering the Xbox360 "HD_DVD add on" is about to be launched or has been launched, I can not understand why they don't offer them "in store" I gather circuit city over in the states has taken a similar approach ie not stocking BD titles. Tweet
And at $42.99 for old titles is a bit rich from a retailer that promotes itself as having the cheapest prices. It is amazing the hypocrisy these retailers can demonstrate when it comes to $$$$$$$$. It won't be long before HD DVD titles appear in their stores once demand develops. OakenShield1
I think the whole situation is ludricrous. JB stocked (Although very limited) both DVD-A and SACD. Whats the difference this time around? More royalties maybe?
CoNFooZeD
Maybe Sony's deal with JB to buy exclusive shelf space for Blu Ray didn't extend to the online stores?

C.M It appears my local JB is getting in only 7 HD-DVD drives over the weekend, but won't actually sell them until the official release date of 29 Mar. I'm able to put my name down to reserve one, but when I asked about price I was told $249.95. When I mentioned HN have a pre-order for $238, the salesguy said he couldn't do any better than $249.95 and was adamant. It's annoying, because I have a $70 JB gift voucher I need to spend and nothing else I want from there, but I can get better prices elsewhere and I want to spend as little as possible. Grrrr!
