my thoughts...more propaganda from the blu-ray machine.

as I posted below I think toshibas response is much more realistic.

hidef players are only 1% of DVD player sales. hate to see what a small proportion hi-def discs are of total DVD disc sales !

this article here, pretty much shows its sony that is the propaganda machine. with war and victory talk.

toshiba is much more realistic about it all I think with saying stuff like this.

"The truth is, he said, that neither format could claim victory when high def player sales accounted for less than 1% of regular DVDplayer sales - in the US at least"

jsut as I thought hi-def is a mere tiny drop in the huge DVD ocean.

also good to read toshibas thoughts on pricing and acknowledging following research that

confirmed that even at 450GBP, many people still believe HD format players to be too expensive when compared to the bargain basement prices offered by supermarkets on DVD players.

good to see atleast one of the players wiht a bit of realism in what they say...
