leungie Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Hi guys, I have this problem that both my housemate and I have the XB360. I've got my 360 on the bottom floor and he's got his 360 on the first floor. We both have a wireless router / modem. Is there a way that both of us can get online without having to fork out $ for the wireless adapter thing for the 360? Your help is much appreciated. James

James if you have a router you can run ethernet cables to both consoles from the router. its a more stable connection (i've noticed less lag against US players online) but you may not be able to stream audio/video/photos this way. i cant at least, maybe i am doing something wrong edit: ps : ive just quoted the first post in a thread note to self........give yourslef an uppercut kamma
ajm1503559545 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Could be worse. You could always quote something that isn't all that relevant itself and by doing so add nothing whatsoever to the topic. Like this post

However I know that a lot of the 1080 files would have smaller bandwidth than say, HD-DVD.

James You should be able to do this if your wireless routers support WDS. You put one of the routers into bridge mode. It also helps a lot if both the routers are the same make and ideally even the same model. I tried with two different brands of routers and couldn't get it to work so had to shell out for the 360 wireless adaptor.
