what do they do with the ones that are returned due to someone not being satisfied? Do they flog them off at a discounted price because they are now 2nd hand?

flogged off at discount later or at the markets in west Sydney.

For the computers which have an atrocious reliability record they are stripped for spares.

yeah, I'm interested in this, too - but will have to factor in a HD STB.

Incidentally, my daughter is very happy with her Aldi laptop (it' 18 months old and hasn't missed a beat)

The desktop I have is running fine after replacement graphics card and motherboard fan neither gotten from Aldi which they wanted a fortune for and cannot be gotten at Park Lea markets.

ok finally got one of these.

In a lucky position to compare it with a Samsung 40" and compromising on the size and better view quality of the sammy a very good buy.

Tevion not the most user friendly to use but ok as i am using mainly as PC monitor.

Annoying draw back is it does not power down the screen when looses its signal which (the sammy does this well) which is good for power saving.
