boxall Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Anyone else seen this? 3 times now I have recorded a box office movie on my IQ and the first 10 or so minutes are corrupted...can't fast forward through it. Have to stop, choose a time after the corruption and REW back to the end of the corruption. So 3/12 movies....not perfect that is for sure! MAJOR PAIN!
DrP Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Interesting. The first 10 minutes or so of a FBO movie used to be unencrypted and viewable without a subscription. I wonder if that has something to do with your problem.
karl farrugia Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 (edited) I have been a foxtel customer since it's inseption. On Friday Night a purchased a pay for view movie and discovered it was'nt broadcast in full surround sond. Given Foxtel promote these movies as digital picture and SOUND i felt ripped off paying for a service that was'nt supplied. I rang and recieved a credit for the $5.95, but frankly thats not good enough. Yet again Foxtel are a law to themselves. The sooner we get true competition the better Edited March 24, 2007 by karl farrugia

The sooner we get true competition the better Was it supposed to be broadcast in surround sound? Only the first 12 channels are capable/activated for 5.1. If it was a movie on FB13-26 then it was never going to have surround sound
