Muzzer123 Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Hi Guys, It looks like my current receiver has snuffed it so I'm probably looking for a replacement. I'm wanting advice on a new receiver under $2,000 that'll do HDMI interface switching of a 1080P signal. I'll eventually get a Bluray player so I need good compatibility with that. I don't spose there's one out there with an upgrade path for Dolby True HD and DTS-HD is there? My current receiver is 75 Watts/channel so I don't need much more than that. Just want something with the maximum in future proofing and good value for money. Recommendations please......

kiwimeat Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 My choice would be one of Denon 2807, or Yamaha 1700 or 2700.
AndrewW Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I am attempting to organise a group buy for the Yamaha 2700B here This would definitely meet your budget and specification requirements. Andrew.
byte-me Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 There is a possible group buy going on here if you are interested in the Yamaha 2700. http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showtopic=47414&hl= edit = see above post, damn ya gotta be quick round here!
