G'day.

I've got an chipped XBOX I'm no longer using. It includes an upgraded hard drive (I think 120GB not sure), and a recent XBMC installed.

It includes the xbox remote and one controller.

Also can through in an svideo pack (with optical) - geniune. And a component pack (with optical) - 3rd party. (You'll need to supply your own optical cable - I've reused this elsewhere).

I'll need to see what this is generally worth, so I'll get back to you with a price. (Feel free to make an offer).

Cheers,

Craig

P.S. Also sent via email.

P.S.S. In Sydney, so would need to post.

Why don't you buy an unmodded box and do a softmod?

I softmodded my Xbox & installed XBMC in a couple of hours.

Softmod cost = cost of an exploitable game (& that's if you don't already have one).

(Technically you also need to know someone with a modded box & a memory unit).

Its possible even without that, if you are prepared to improvise a little. You can make / get a controller-to-usb adapter and then use a compatible usb flashdrive.

Xbox accessories like the memory unit are hard to find nowadays. When I did mine, I didnt have a memory unit and couldnt find one in any shops, so had to use the usb flashdrive method. Worked like a charm.

You're spot on.

What I should have said was that you also need a way of getting a couple of 'saved game' files onto the HDD.

There are various methods ranging from free --> expensive & also easy --> requires a soldering iron & an old controller cable.
