Stay away from LCD you don’t have to worry about pixel update times.

Sharp's 52" 1080P had responde time of 2ms!! Saw it yesterday for $4999

I want to know if a a native 1080p (1080p/24) display (that can accept 1080p in its HDMI input), that uses HDMI 1.3, has a scan rate < 4ms (if LCD), at least 42inch and is under $4,000 (AUS) (and is from a good quality manufacturer)

or am i dreaming

wonder how a good LCD panel looks being fed a HD-DVD source...anyone got that set-up?

Dreaming at the moment.

And no Sharp or other LCD can do 2ms ATM.

Manufacturer's specs mean absolutely nothing. My Benq 8ms monitor has far less blur than my Samsung 5ms monitor. Mind you, the colour and contrast on the Benq are absolutely laughable.
