Guest EZYHD Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Up here right now (3.05pm 13.3.07) the rain is coming down in truck loads, real tropical rain, could hardly stand under it, dam noisey too with thunder, as our dams are already running over the spillways what a waste.

Maybe you could post some of it to us down south. It hasn't rained properly here in Adelaide for months!

Perhaps another Snowy Mountains type scheme to turn the spillage inland is worth considering.
50mxe20 Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Perhaps another Snowy Mountains type scheme to turn the spillage inland is worth considering. A canal perhaps?
drsmith Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 A canal perhaps? It would have to be covered to keep the cane toads out.
mjgriffo Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 send it down to SE QLD, they're talking level 5 restrictions soon - have to start harvesting the humidity in our breath.....
drsmith Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 That makes more sense than from the Kimberley to Perth. Less distance for a start. Colin Barnett; Queensland needs you.
CoNFooZeD Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 send it down to SE QLD, they're talking level 5 restrictions soon - have to start harvesting the humidity in our breath..... Maybe that's level 6 restrictions. Everone has to wear moisture retention suits as in Dune.
