think spearmint means the thing retails at $4k here in oz. the seller here is selling an imported unit here in this thread at $3400 or 14.89% of rrp.

I am not sure that I follow you on this, you say you bought this in Hong Kong and have brought it back here and you purchased an international 2 year warranty with it. However the 2 year warranty is not transferrable on second hand equipment, which is what yours would be classified as now as you were the original purchaser regardless of whether or not it has been used by you. So how can you say that it has a 2 year warranty included with it when someone purchases it from you?

Well said and very correct. And not only on denon gear but most brands this happens.

ive never been to hk but will the voltage vary?

Most gear has the varous international voltages, just need a converter plug for some. I bought my Yamaha RX-V4600 in HK and picked up the PP plug for $2 while there.

Funny guys!

Remember its $599 off the rrp ($3999) for a brand spanking new SUPER amp.

With no local warranty!

This is part of the reason that I didn't buy a Yam 2700 (for ~$700 less) when I was in HK recently......
