flukeyluke
Morning all, In about 8 weeks I will be moving into the new house and will be seeking some help with the setting up of my home theatre. I will probably want someone for a few hours to assist in setting up my projector and amp, basically to esnure everthing is connected correctly and working as it should be. Any suggestions on who I could use? I am happy to pay what ever the going rate is. Thanks, Luke.

If your referring to when your watching TV or FOX there isnt much rear sound going on,if you've got a dvd with lots of action eg.matrix, star wars, sav pri ryan then you should hear lots from your rears. Does your amp have a DSO like "5 stereo" whereall speakers are on at once, try that and if sound is coming out of all speakers everything is probably connected ok. Have you adjusted your speaker levels with a SPL meter, you may find that the rear speakers need to be turned up a bit.

Guest Conifer
If you lived in the ACT I could help you out, I have my own HT install business. We do: ceiling speakers, wall speakers, data ports, etc Currently pre wiring a house at the moment. The sparky was going to do it and was going to use $1.95 a meter cable and probably going to charge $5.00 a meter for it. But this HT room looks great.
