maeve1941 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 All of a sudden my STB colour is green tinged. It is not my TV as the analogue channels colour is fine. They run off the same antenna! I haven't had this problem before and was wondering if the storm we had in Sydney last night caused this, or is it a fault at the channels? It is unwatchable! Thanks
wahroonga farm Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I'd suggest your stb is gravely ill. Try a factory reset and rescan.
tonymy01 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 You get that also if your TV is expecting composite or RGB or svideo, but you accidently change the STB output to component/YUV. Regards
Timmy Downawell Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Re-check all cables also. I second that, especially if you are using SCART, the plug may have become partly dislodged.
digitalj Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I get the same issue on my DVD player when I try to view it via YUV, even though my DVD player is programmed to output YUV.
maeve1941 Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 I second that, especially if you are using SCART, the plug may have become partly dislodged. Thanks, I think you are right! I fiddled around with my scart cable and it was OK after that. I have sent an email to Topfield (they haven't replied yet, NOT UNUSUAL) and think I may have to return it for service. I have 5 year warranty, thank god.
