gojiro77 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 Just noticed that the epg is now alphabetised ignoring the article "the". E.G. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" is now listed under the letter "R" for Real, not "T" for The. No more annoying scrolling through endless "The"s in the search menu!!! gojiro
Kosmo Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 It's the little things that make a difference. Now I can stop worrying why they didn't do this sensible thing in the first place
gojiro77 Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 The indefinite article, "a", is also now ignored, I noticed today. Very helpful. It is still mildly annoying when searching to encounter one of the Foxtel Box Office movies and having to scroll through pages and pages of half hourly listings. Ability to search using more than simply the initial would be sweet. gojiro
mddawson Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 They should also ignore 'an' (I work in a library).
gojiro77 Posted March 10, 2007 Author Posted March 10, 2007 I now notice however that this common sense does not apply to recorded shows in the IQ planner. gojiro
ShadySoldier Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 What about getting rid of the All the box office movies which take up several pages on the search feature per movie... deno_22 Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hi, i took my foxtel box to my mates house and plugged it into his satellite. It said no signal being recived, though i know the satellite dish is correctly positioned as he had foxtel disconnected only a couple weeks before. Surely foxtel wouldn know where the signal is comming from!
