gojiro77
Foxtel plans for next 12 to 18 months Patrick Delany, Foxtel's executive director of content, product and delivery, says the company plans to increase its TV guide from seven days to a month and "possibly 60 days", as well as add trailers for TV shows. In May, the full guide will be available also on mobile phones, which means IQ customers will be able to record a show remotely through their mobiles. Until then, if you're away from home - even overseas - it's still possible to record programs at your place via the TV guide online. In the works for release in the next 12 to 18 months is a TV set-top "hybrid box" that aims to bring broadband and broadcast together. "We're developing the product to try and augment our on-demand [technology] so we can deliver things to the box using broadband," Delany says. from Knowfirst http://www.knowfirst.info/forums/showthread.php?t=23333
