Panasonic Th-42px600a Owners...

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to pick up the TY-ST42P600W pedestal stand that comes with the Panasonic TH-42PX600A plasma to replace the factory stand that came with my PV60A.

I thought the best bet would be to find someone here who has wall mounted their PX600A.

Please drop me a PM with your price & contact details if interested.

Cheers,

BAC

Are you sure the stand can fit into PV60A as well?

It doesn't look like it can.

Panasonic Australia certainly don't provide much information on their web site, but I found this link which indicates the stand is applicable to both the 600 series and the 60 series.

According to the manual, the diamond shaped pedestal from the 600 series is part number TY-ST42P600W.

Have a look on eBay as well. I've seen some around as I had a look when I wall mounted my 50" 600 to see what I could get if I decided to sell it.

Good luck!

Thanks - I've been checking on Ebay for the past couple of weeks, but mostly the stands listed there are either not the right model, too pricey (asking for $100 or more) or not located in the greater Melbourne area.

I believe the weight of this stand in the box is over 12kg, so shipping costs from outside Victoria would probably end up being too expensive.

Any takers?

just got one off ebay for $20, now I just have to sort out how to get it shipped from sydney. I think if youre patient you'll get one at the right price.

The stock stand with the PV 60 doesnt do much for me at all and the swivel will be really handy for our open plan house.

good luck!

hooked up the PV60A to the new TY-ST42P600W swivel stand, it really looks so much better plus its a much smaller footprint.

Highly recommended for any 42PV60A owners if you can get them at the right price :D . Mine ended up at $55 incl freight

(Also highly recommended that you not try and do it on your own  )
