lowdef
Hi, bought a TH-42PV60A mid last year and love it to death. However, in the last couple of months I've noticed that the green writing that appears when you change inputs (ie: switching from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 etc) stays in the top left hand corner for ages. When I first had the tv, the writing only appeared for 10 seconds or so, now it stays for around 2 minutes before it disappears! Has anyone else noticed this? Is it something that can be altered via a menu somewhere or should I get it fixed? Thanks

Thanks Mine leaves the green text denoting the currently selected input on the screen until it detects a valid signal on that input. Perhaps yours is having trouble recognising the fact there is a valid input signal. Cheers, BAC

Thanks If it was only doing it for 10 seconds before and is now taking 2 minutes i'd get in contact with Panasonic while it was still in warranty just to be safe. There may be something they can do in the service menu in which case would be easily solved, with any luck they'll have it sorted for you within the week.
