renura
Hi Guys, We have released version 1.2.8 of DNTV Live! You may download it from here Main changes: 1. Added support for 7 Day EPG data from DVB Data Transport Streams or XMLTV data sources. (for both Satellite and Terrestrial TV). 2. Added the ability to set scheduled recordings from the 7 day EPG with user selectable auto start and finish time padding. Please read chapter 3 and 4 of the manual for more detaills. 3. Added support for a number of new DNTV Live! devices to be released in 2007. 4. Fixed some users issues in relation to ntdll.dll exception errors. 5. Fixed a bug related to adding channels manually to the channel list. These are now editable. 6. Added the ability to save and load a channel list for backup and quick retrievial purposes. The saved channel list file is stored in the programs files directory, DNTV Live! folder, as "channellist". Please read the notes on the download page before installation. Feedback, as usual is appreciated. Cheers Renura
Champion_R
Have you actually tried the current x64 driver with Vista x64? Yes it does work but without an authenticode signature, I would have to press F8 and disable the driver signing requirement and I'm not satisfied with that. Considering the driver works, it should be just a matter of getting an authenticode signature for it.

Just wondering what relevance this has in the release of DNTV Live! 1.2.8.

Just wondering what relevance this has in the release of DNTV Live! 1.2.8. http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?s=&...st&p=591851 Though I'm not sure why it really matters if the driver is signed or not. Half the equipment in my computer doesn't have a signed driver (soundcard, webcam, TV card). Anyway, on topic I'm having trouble getting the XMLTV EPG to work using JRobbo's guides. Does it not support .zip files containing the xmltv file? as it works fine when I unzip it and upload the file to my webspace and use the direct xmltv file there. EDIT:Also the EPG doesn't really work if you are running a resolution of 800*600.

It does support dowloading the zip files form JRobbo's, you should enter the url of the zip file and it will download it and unzip it into the correct folder and with the required name. If yopu are having difficulties with the download, give me the detail of the settings (just the URL used will do) you are using and I will try it If you use 800x600 resolution, you would not be able to see the whole EPG screen, as the fonts and layouts are fixed. renura
I'm using http://www.jrobbo.com/ozxmltv/xmltvAdelaide.zip Make sure that you don't have any other EPG files in the XMLTV folder, as it will not like overwriting an existing guide when you are downaloding a zip file. If an EPG file already exist, it will simply download the new file and unzip it without changing the name to the XMLTV_DVBT.xml.

GoForMoe
I can't thank you enough for this release , the Ntdll error is gone! Although I haven't got the EPG working yet, but that is only a matter of time hopefully (and so it is, I got it working but the guide wasn't up to date)

Btw Renura, I noticed this: If your version on the CD is earlier than 1.1.9 and you wish to use mpg format recording, you will need a new mux filter, contact support (with proof of purchase of a DNTV Live! product) to obtain this. on the 1.2.8 Download page and when I checked the DNTV Live CD that came with my DNTV Live! LP card, the changelog.txt says "Version 1.1.7 (Updated 051105)". Anyhoo my question is, would this "new" MPG mux filter have any impact on my inability to get AC3 (DD5.1) out of HDTV in Media Center 2005?
