Arrrrggggghhhhh, allied to a couple of previous posts recently i went throught a look at various shops today in Perth (ossie park)

retravision , the panny 600a, sammy 71 were both $2200, salesman was a bit of twit and dint know about the retravision deal in the paper on the 600a ???? whereas retravision balcatta did $1995 plus $199 for the extra 4 years warranty. happy to negotiate on price "when your ready to buy''

Good guys - they had the 600a for $1999 for $2299 - again happy to negotiate on price ''when you are ready to buy''

but what i and my g/f thought had good picture quality was the phillips 32PF9631D/79

which was going for $2299 again negotiable.

Any opinions of the phillips they dont seem o have the traffic here has say the sony, samsung and panasonic models , they sales guy did say they have recently dropped their prices abit - he did also say the 600a is a very popular model at the moment

any opinions of the phillips claim to fame - the digital natural motion, pixel plus engine ambilight which seems cool but could be a gimmick???

also went to jb hifi they had the 600a for $1831 and the sam 71 for $2097.

curiously one of the better deals was at david jones at karrinyup they are doing the 600a plus the extened warranty for $2099.

They are probably offering good deals at the moment because this is the old model.
