Stump
Ive had this recorder (Panasonic DMR-EH60) for a while with Humax HD-7000 and Sony KVHR36M31.All works well although I do get snow and ghosting on a couple of channels that I record.A friend swears this recorder should record through the Humax digital channels giving me a clear recording....Is he RIGHT or isnt that why they have put out the HD Digital Recorders for over $1000??? begas
hi just a newby and wondering if i am in the right pace to quote my recorder? i bought a 250gighd with a dvd recorder from dse for $299 (run out want to get rid of special) it is a "hicon" part of the conica brand - but one needs to be pretty well advanced when it comes to operating it i've had it since xmas and it has not missed a beat x fingers but what i found was it was getting so hot it was nearly scorching the board it was on so i put some old chair feet cups under it and that has done the trick and keeps a lot of air around it and it gets turned off when not in use. when i first got it i just could not work out how to operate it so being a fault finding person i am i rang the dse support line and was told ???? but to try the so called source button on the remote bingo then it all started to fall into place but i was having trouble in the recording side as i was recording in the live frame and had to keep pressing til i had only 3hrs the i stumbled onto another recording frame which i can choose the whole hdd 250gig of it and record in extra ultra ext play which i worked out to be around 500hrs as stated on the screen so vhs out the door no more in use it is absolutely perfect coupled to the set top box and burning dvd's + - r rw even for my lad's ipod it all works fine i just thought that i'd put my bit in about so called cheapies and if and when it packs up i still can put the hdd into the computer that it thankx wayne
