Recommended Posts

Hi Sony VPL-HS50/60 PJ owners, I have a brand new Genuine Sony Air Filter For Sale @ $50 (Cost me $100) + $5 Postage to anywhere in Australia.

My HS50 died before I could use it and im getting a Sanyo Z5 as a replacement, hence me not needing it anymore.

PM me for full payment details.

I just realised that I also have a Sony HS50 IR remote control (RM-PJHS50) in perfect working order (used only briefly to program my Universal remote) that is useless to me, so if anyone wants it as a spare for a HS50/60 make me an offer + $5 Standard Postage & Handling.

PS. I made another thread for it here.

I mean accidental death, I'm not going into details tho, it's embarrassing.

C'mon Djos you cant leave us in the lurch like that, tell us what happened, being a PJ i know it wasn't you who had the plasma strapped to the roof of your car on the freeway so i dont think it could be more embarrassing than that! :D

Basically while removing it from my ceiling mount (to clean it and replace the air filter), it slipped off my hand (I had one hand underneath, cordless drill in other hand and was undoing the 2 screws connecting it to the mount) onto my tiled floor resulting in the lens mechanism, sans some of the glass optics, being relocated a couple of centimeters further back inside the case than would be considered normal. :D
