ezza Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Hi, I have an LG RT-32FZ60RB 76cm 100hz Flatron TV and i was just wondering why it takes so long to change channels. There is a lag of about 2-3 seconds to switch channels and it can be very frustrating when you want to get to a channel quikly. I also have an LG 51cm Flatron and it also has a lag... but not as long. Just wondering if this is normal and if there is a way around it?? Ezza.

The de-coder has to has it's memory dumped and loaded from the new transport stream. It takes a few seconds in some cases. Even when the picture is back, the audio will take a few more secs to sync up. In fact until the small graphic display goes off, the audio is most likely out of sync.
