silverpearl Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Hey all! i updated software for my DVB-T lite card today and after doing auto scan... it was able to pick only prime, win, ten! it didnt pick abc or sbs... b4 upgrade, it picked a lot of channels including sbs radio etc. wat did i do wrong?shuld i uninstall and reinstall or go back to the older version? TIA

Seriously, I’m a big believer in not fixing what ain't broke. If you’ve tried scanning for channels umpteen times with the new software, you could try using the older version to scan your channels. If successful, don’t rescan when you upgrade. Edit: or use kenneth's method below, sure. I’ve never had to do it myself, and I’ve used 5 DVB-T cards with lots of different software versions, but then I live in a capital city. Have had missing channels a couple of times, though, but they always come up after a second scan.
kenneth1503559512 Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 Also, you could try the FusionHDTV's manual scan mode and choose the channel numbers that are missing (if you have no idea what they are, use the DBA reception locator).
