You cannot pick up an astra satellite here in oz.Nor for that matter pick up any european satelites here, which is a shame..

Your look angle would be approx 25 deg which is almost level ground stuff!!

0 Degrees is ground level stuff.

25 degrees is a perfectly normal look angle.

Now if it was -25 degreees then I would understand....

You often see look angles of sat RX's and TX's down in the single degree digits in the lower and higher areas of the earth. I've seen a 13m Uplink dish running with a 4 degree look angle.

But no way would you get Astra.......they only have a footprint over Europe, and you can't see any of the Satellites, they're all below the Horizon.
